TYPES OF LAB CASEWORK CONFIGURATIONS

BASE LAB CABINETS

  • Heights: 29″, 32″, 35″, 41″

  • Widths: 12″, 15″, 18″, 21″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″

  • Depths: 18″, 22″

  • Drawers: 0 to 6

  • Doors: 0 to 2

    • Base cabinets with widths less than 30″ will have 1 door.

    • Base cabinets with widths of 30″ or more will have 2 doors.

  • Door Hinge: Left Hinge, Right Hinge, or Double Door

  • Locks: Yes/No 

  • Pulls: Aluminum or Wire Stainless Pull

Base laboratory cabinets are standard floor-mounted casework. Base cabinets are the true soul of the lab. They set the tone for the space and provide easy access to materials, tools, or whatever you use in your facility that you need at your disposal.

SINK LAB CABINETS

  • Heights: 29″, 32″, 35″, 41″

  • Widths: 15″, 18″, 21″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″, 52″, 58″

  • Depths: 18″, 22″

  • Doors: 1 to 2

    • Sink cabinets with widths less than 30″ will have 1 door.

    • Sink cabinets with widths of 30″ or more will have 2 doors.

  • Door Hinge: Left Hinge, Right Hinge, or Double Doors

    • Widths > 24″ will have double doors.

  • Locks: Yes/No 

  • Pulls: Aluminum or Wire Stainless Pull

Sink laboratory cabinets can have undermount, drop-in, or integral sinks in the tops. While usually present in a run of base cabinetry, a sink cabinet can be placed a the end cap of a lab island to create an easily-accessible workstation.

WALL LAB CABINETS

  • Heights: 18″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″

  • Widths: 12″, 15″, 18″, 21″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″

  • Depths: 13″, 16″

  • Door Type: Solid, Acrylic, Glass, Open (no doors)

  • Door Hinge: Left Hinge, Right Hinge, or Double Doors

    • Widths > 24″ will have double doors.

  • Locks: Yes/No

  • Pulls: Aluminum or Wire Stainless Pull

As the name implies, these are your standard wall mounted laboratory casework. Alternatively, these can be placed mounted to uprights as upper cabinetry for workbenches and islands.

TALL LAB CABINETS

  • Heights: 84″

  • Widths: 12″, 15″, 18″, 21″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″

  • Depths: 13″, 16″, 18″, 22″

  • Door Type: Solid, Acrylic, Glass, Open (no doors)

Flammable laboratory cabinets are a great option if you need to store hazardous materials in a safe space. Each is powder-coated with an interior plasti-coat for chemical resistance against hazardous materials present in the substances.

ACID LAB CABINETS

  • Widths: 24″*, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″

    • Single Door & Hinge Direction only for 24″

  • Depths: 18″, 22″

  • Door Hinge: Left Hinge, Right Hinge, or Double Doors

  • All dimensions are listed in inches.
  • Cabinet configurations with 2 or more doors cannot be less than 30″ wide. 
  • Cabinets with only 1 door cannot be more than 24″ wide. 
  • All heights DO NOT include countertop thickness. Please consider the countertop thickness when determining the final bench height.
