At OnePointe Solutions we provide biosafety cabinets for various CDC and W.H.O designated biosafety labs. Working closely with our clients, we help them select the perfect configuration, materials, and accessories for their unique needs, and custom build biosafety cabinets to match their specifications.
For biosafety labs, we provide the same service, working closely with every Biosafety Level (BSL) to choose solutions that help maintain lab cleanliness and material safe handling. Whether you need a set of biosafety cabinets, or an entire biosafety lab built out, we can be your sole laboratory planning and construction partner.
Our laminar flow cabinets and biosafety cabinets are manufactured in America, and are subject to the full range of testing required for compliant biosafety equipment.
Also known as laminar flow cabinets, these enclosures that provide filtered air across the work area to protect against contamination or where sample protection is required. The bench filters air before reaching the work area to provide a clean space for sample handling. Used in several; applications from clinical, life science, pharmaceutical and even industrial.
A Class I BSC (biosafety cabinet) also known as a biological safety cabinet or Class I Containment Ventilated Enclosure (CVE) provides protection to the environment and the personnel but not to the product. Similar to a general chemical fume hood referring to air movement, these, however, have a restricted work access opening. Great for RG1, RG2 and RG3 biological material.
These are ventilated cabinets that provide personnel, product and environmental protection. Commonly found in research and clinical labs handling infectious agents in RG2, RG3, RG4 or tissue culture. Class II Biosafety Cabinets come i (4) types: A1, A2, B1 and B2. The most common Class II BSC that you will see is Type A2.
This cabinet provides the highest level of personnel protection and used for RG4 agents (risk group 4). These work best in Biosafety Level 3 and 4 labs. Fully enclosed and tested under pressure to ensure particles seep from the cabinet into the room. Its airflow is controlled by a dedicated exhaustt exterior to the cabinet, keeping the interior pressure under negative pressure.

Used to contain biological agents and prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses, like the coronavirus/COVID-19. They use high-efficiency particulate air filters to clean and purify the air, then vent clean air back into the working environment to ensure the health and safety of lab personnel. Air entering the cabinet is also filtered to maintain a sterile workflow, protecting the sample. In biosafety labs level 2-4, bsc's serve as the primary containment equipment for infectious pathogens and toxins. While these cabinets are needed for BSL 4, they are required in all laboratories working with infectious pathogens.
Fume hoods provide localized filtration/ventilation and are designed to remove potentially hazardous or harmful fumes, vapors, and droplets away from lab personnel. Research, manufacturing, and medical labs handle a vast range of corrosive chemicals, biological/viral agents, materials that may cause respiratory irritation, and substances with highly flammable fumes. Fume hoods allow researchers and lab personnel to handle these materials without the risk of inhaling toxic fumes or exposing themselves and the facility to infectious/viral contamination.
